Delivering gentle fine line-reducing benefits, the Medik8 Crystal Retinal 1 Serum is an advanced retinaldehyde formula that protects from the noticeable signs of ageing. Powered by 0.01% stabilised retinal, the treatment is suitable for beginners and those with sensitive skin thanks to a blend of nourishing actives and time-release encapsulation technology.

The fast-acting form of vitamin A is known for its skin-smoothing effect and potent renewing properties. Paired with hyaluronic acid, glycerin and vitamin E, the serum diminishes the look of uneven texture, dullness and discolouration to encourage the illusion of enhanced elasticity and bounce.

How to use

Step 1: After cleansing in the evening, apply 2 pumps of Crystal Retinal to the face and neck. Allow to absorb then follow with a moisturiser. We recommend Advanced Night Restore which is specifically designed to be used after vitamin A.

Step 2: For new users of Crystal Retinal, phase application in gradually. Use twice a week for the first 2 weeks, every other night for the next 2 weeks, then every night. You should always use a sunscreen the next morning after using vitamin A.

NOTE: Ladder up your visible age-defying results over time with Crystal Retinal’s 5 progressive strengths (0.01% – 0.1% retinaldehyde). For those with very sensitive skin, we recommend starting with Crystal Retinal 1 (0.01%). However, most Crystal Retinal and vitamin A beginners start on Crystal Retinal 3 (0.03%). If you’re an experienced vitamin A user already, start at Crystal Retinal 6 (0.06%) before working your way up to Crystal Retinal 10 (0.1%).
